The Marshmallow Challenge
A challenge for 9th graders to build the highest tower they can in 15min only using spaghetti and marshmallows. It is done twice with a discussion in between for them to learn what worked and didn't from other groups.

Artemis: Going Back to the Moon
A discussion with middle school students about space, the moon and physics, with the goal of enhancing their understanding about why we go to the moon and what a rocket is.

The Cosmic Distance Ladder
A hands-on activity for middle school students to learn about the cosmos and how humanity learnt how to measure the world we live in.

How Students can lead their own education
Discussed the work done by the Edgerton Center in Barcelona to create a Hands-On Program where students become the protagonists of their own education. Sponsored by Elizabeth Cavicchi, Instructor at the MIT Edgerton Center.
